Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

This concept holds companies responsible for managing the waste generated by their products throughout their entire lifecycle. EPR would shift the responsibility of waste management onto the company that produces the products. Currently EPR is not mandated but companies can choose to comply to build trust with their consumers and contribute to a more circular economy.
